The blurple is no more! Now I get the pleasure of removing some more body bits, grinding and filling dents, sanding the sills (still original paint), priming, and sanding some more.

Isn't it an exciting feeling to be doing your own paint/body?

If by exciting you mean "an absolutely dreadful but necessary waste of time," then yes, it is exciting. I'm terrified of messing anything up. I much prefer doing engine work.

Of course! My car came from the factory as a Black & Gold Special Edition. Somewhere along the line a PO stole most of the SE parts from it, later, another PO painted it blurple. I am going to revert it back to its factory tacky 70s-ness decal laden glory.
